SCHÜCO LivIng 82 MD

SCHÜCO LivIng 82 MD PVCu windows are made from the latest SCHÜCO profile which was introduced to the public at the Fensterbau Frontale in Nürnberg in 2016. Upgraded window technology of SCHÜCO Living MD 82 profile is particularly noticeable in the following features:

- improved heat transfer coefficients of frame from Uf = 0.96 W/m2K (when the front width of profiles is 120 mm)

- an extended overlap of the frame and sash (8 mm) in the exterior, the modification of gasket shape in the centre and the larger functional range of interior and exterior rebate gaskets. This resulted in an increased tightness of windows.

- weldable EPDM gasket is the world's first, developed in cooperation with SEMPERIT company. The EPDM seal has better shape stability and longer lifetime than gaskets based on other materials. The result is more attractive connections of the gaskets in the corners and their better tightness.

- options for a dark grey or caramel core profile with two-sided lamination. Especially with gray lamination, the dark grey core looks very elegantly.

If LivIng 82 MD profile is designed with thermal insulation rebate insert under glass, triple glazing with Ug = 0.6 W/m2K and SWISSSPACER Ultimate spacer bar with linear  heat transfer coefficient of Ψ = 0.030 W/mK, then the window heat transfer coefficient refers to Uw = 0.8 W/m2K (with the dimension of 1230 x 1480 mm) which allows its incorporation into low-energy and passive buildings.  

The windows are standardly equipped with all-round fitting Siegenia TITAN AF, with alternative fittings SCHÜCO VarioTec, allowing  down pressure of sash against window frame, handle control with two mashroom cams for casement windows with tilt back system, and a number of other options for fittings.

We produce and also offer Schüco LivIng 82 MD  windows in modification with outer aluminium cladding (TopAlu), see photos in the product gallery.  ALU-clad can be painted with approx. 300 colours and then the structure resembles of all-aluminum fillers.
