SCHÜCO AWS 90.SI+ (Tilt / Slide doors)

The aluminum tilt and slide balcony door (PSK) combines the advantages of sliding and tilting: the sash can be tilted and then slide behind the fixed glazed part. Compared to the lift and slide door, it has the advantage of the possibility to tilt the sash, this construction is also tighter and more resistant to wind-driven rain. The drawback to it can be 84 mm high profile that needs to be stepped over, smaller maximum dimensions of the sliding sash and uneven dimensions of the sash glazing and the adjacent fixed glazing.

Brief description:

  • Exceptional thermal insulation of the profile with heat transfer coefficient of frame UF= 0.98 W/m2K (with the front width of profiles 137 mm) due to TI inserts around the glazing, midle gasket with foam core and glazing gasket with foam core.
  • It can be made from standard Schüco AWS 90.SI+ window system
  • Suitable for low-energy and passive buildings.
  • It provides the option of tilting for ventilation and sliding for maximum light inlet.
  • High operation comfort, i.e. big lever of the handle ensures handling even with a heavy leaves
  • The leaf in a tilting position is locked against sliding.
  • Lever against closing of the sash from outside built in in handle
  • Resistance to burglary up to class RC2
  • The weight of the leaf up to 200 kg.
  • Max clear width x height = 1840 x 2440 mm with single-sash door.
  • The sill is made of 84 mm high profile.
  • Magnetic sensors for the purposes of security and lowering heating costs (optional).
  • Compatibility with other SCHÜCO systems.
